1/2017 – 9/2019 U.S. Cargo Systems (NYSE – TDG): Business Development Manager, Commercial and Military. Negotiated new business in Mainland China for the Boeing 767-300 conversions for the largest Cargo Airlines in China, SF Airlines. New business included developing the foreign representative, establish the distributor and developed relationships with several primary aircraft businesses from previous relationships. Separately, awarded US Military large cargo system for Boeing Rotor Wing Program. Focus was with the Defense industry in the US and Foreign Military Sales including USAF and Fleet Readiness, Cherry Point. New business since joining has been over $6 million to start between awards in China and in the US.

2012 – 1/2017 Developed new opportunities in new markets for a variety of businesses in Eastern North Carolina and from South Carolina. Located back to NC from Boston. Assisted a variety of companies enter new markets and developed new customers. Examples include asset reliability projects for oil and gas companies, aerospace suppliers and industrial businesses. Largest new contracts include $2M and $12M for asset reliability services and aircraft components. Additional contacts include the firearms Industry, global military and commercial decision makers as well as several contacts in program management and lean enterprise skill sets.

2010 – 2012 Senior Aerospace: Sales & Program manager in Boston responsible for new program start up and reviews as well as supply chain. Customers include Lockheed Martin F-35 and Aircelle – Safran in France. Program manager and prime contact for negotiations for the F-35 IPP section for Senior. Managed programs of over $10M per year in revenue.

2009 – 2010 HGS Aerospace: Business Development Manager. Expand current automation equipment markets and developing aerospace components business in direct military, indirect military, US and Chinese commercial markets. Increased immediate bid opportunities by over $20M with new companies.

2004 – 2009 Barnes Group Inc. – Barnes Aerospace (NYSE – B): Promoted to Business Development Manager of commercial engine & airframe programs in Japan, N/S America with support to European projects.

Technical Sales Manager and Program Manager – Military: Developed new military business for Barnes Aerospace at NAVICP Philadelphia, Fleet Readiness Cherry Point, NAVAIR and Defense Logistics Agency - DLA. Projects included engine, airframe high temperature metallic parts as well as Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) R&D programs, USAF Projects, NGC (B-2) and Lockheed-Martin; F-35, F-22 and ADP Skunkworks Programs. Connected Barnes with the AFRL for an invite to bid and then win the NGC B-2 aft deck program. Built business in first year to $1M and increased to $10M/year with B-2 Aft Deck program at $17M for one contract. Increased contracts of over $1M for each of the six main aerospace divisions. Included build to print and aftermarket services.

4/2000 - 8/2004 EURO-COMPOSITES, CORP., Sales and F-35 Program Manager, Virginia.

Began as Sales Coordinator and promoted to Sales Manager of HC Composite core materials in Virginia. Program manager of Joint Strike Fighter F-35 composite core for ECC and primary contact for all JSF business and engineering POC’s for Lockheed-Martin, Northrop-Grumman, Fokker/Stork, BAe in the UK, US and European sites. Negotiated JSF business contracts and developed engineering profiles of composite materials as single source supplier. Leveraged relationship to include hot formed and machined parts for the F-35 such as the weapon bay doors and vertical tail section. Negotiated contracts in Japan, China and Korea for Airbus A-380, Sikorsky and Boeing qualified products. F-35 Program increased sales to over $20M/year from site level of $6M/year. Site has now grown from 50 employees to 120 with plans to increase to over 300 employees. Worked with State and Federal Agencies for business development in foreign countries.

1990 – 1996 E.I. DuPont & Co. (NYSE – DD) Kinston: Team leader and manager of the Kinston, NC, Dacron® yarn manufacturing and in works engineering departments. Trained shift team leaders in the productions areas. Increasing responsibilities for maintenance departments for the Yarn site. Lead the maintenance department for the new $300M startup for Y-6 & 7 in 1994 and 1995 start up team. Shared budget of $11M and lead team of over 40 craft mechanics. Implemented preventative and predictive maintenance, and training programs.
