Spaymart Kitten Foster Program,

Rescue/Trap/TNR & Foster

August 2002 to Present--

I have trapped & rescued kittens & cats to be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, & adopted for Spaymart since 2002. I've also TNR'd (TrapNeuterReturn) cats & kittens that were unadoptable, but had caretakers. I've been in many attics & gardens, under many houses & restaurants, & walked many parking lots to secure kittens or cats in need. I've actively fostered kittens- some needing bottle or syringe feeding & some needing socialization- but most simply needed a safe, loving environment to play & grow. I've also cared for many Mama-cats with their kittens. Along the way we've helped dogs, squirrels, possums, turtles, birds, & anything else in need. I've found it to be very rewarding.

P.S.: Kittens are thugs!

Lagniappe:

I'm relatively new to the Northshore, having moved here after the passing of my parents. I've been here about 3 years now & am still learning the locations of nearby towns/cities (I need an old school, paper map!).
