EXPERIENCE

CRA COMMUNICATIONS & PROJECT COORDINATOR., CITY OF TAMPA MAY 2022-PRESENT

Oversees the marketing of CRA programs, projects and activities for the eight community redevelopment areas in the City of Tampa.

Collaborates with four CRA managers in identifying their CRA public outreach needs and coordinates communications, marketing, and public relations to align with their CRA plans.

Writes clear, CRA focused communications for social media campaigns, websites, newsletters, and press releases for targeted demographics that provide information and updates on CRA projects, programming, and events within the CRA district.

Provide communications, marketing, and public relations support for the department and community redevelopment areas. Works with the Public Affairs department to disseminate department news, events and achievements.

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with CRA Board, City Administration, multiple Community Advisory Committees and the public.

Develops, updates and coordinates the CRA Communications and Public Relations Action Plan through a collaborative process with internal and external stakeholders.

Assist in the coordination, development, production, and dissemination of informational material and marketing collateral, which may include graphics/digital items and print material such as brochures, press releases, flyers, media kits, and postcards

Manage special projects such as awards submissions, annual reports, redevelopment tours, and/or videos.
