I was the unit expert on cultural and government operations of the countries in which the Division operated (Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan) and how the military operations best integrated within this environment and in accordance with the Ambassadors’ Integrated Country Strategies for each country—developed plans and agreements to minimize military operational impacts on civilian populations, resources, and infrastructure. Cultivated relationships with the US Embassy, Country Teams, Senior Defense Officials, and various US Government directorates, including USAID, allied partners, and non-military agencies, to achieve military objectives.
