18+ Life Readiness Vocational Job Coach, February 2021 – Present

Collaborated with LIFE Readiness teacher and VAC in job development in community businesses. Completed transition assessments (job readiness, social skills, self-determination, etc.). Analyzed job to be performed by student, completed task analysis, implemented systematic, instruction and data collection procedures at the work site to teach the required job and related skills to a student worker.

Transported students to employment and/or training sites. Work side-by-side with students until it has been determined that the skills to maintain job have been mastered by the student. Assess incoming calls from campus or departments to determine if dispatched or create a work ticket. Log all incoming calls and two-way radio transmissions. Proficient use of School Dude software pertaining to all areas of work tickets, process, close, file, and store completed work tickets by campuses/facilities.

Maintain work orders, lifts, vehicle maintenance, and elevator maintenance records. Maintain spreadsheet of all KISD facilities/department/employee assignments, alphabetical/numerical spreadsheet of employee radio call numbers and emergency “At-A-Glance” procedures/phone numbers/addresses.
