April 2011 to Present: working fulltime at “Capital City Nurses” in Maryland and Washington, DC. My
duties include:
● Providing personal care and help with active daily living at Private Homes, Hospitals, Assisted
Living Facilities and Nursing Homes
● Geriatric care
● Dementia and Alzheimer’s care
January 2008 to July 2012: full time CNA (program specialist) at “IONA Adult Day Health Center” in
Washington, DC. My responsibility included providing personal care, rehabilitative services, and assist
with program, recreational and social activities. Prepared monthly chart and progress report for
participants under my care

May 2006 to March 2014: fulltime and part time overnight awake assistant at “L’Arche Greater
Washington, DC.” My duty included assisting core members (geriatric) with personal care, food
preparation and rehabilitative services.
December 2003 to 2006: worked at different retail stores as customer service representative and cashier
in Washington, DC and Virginia.
January 1998- May 2003 (Ethiopia): assisted physically and mentally challenged people (both children
& adults) with transport, rehabilitation and active daily life as instructed by Therapists and Physicians.
