On-time Placement - Ensuring that the vehicles are placed on time at the loading plant for inter plant as well as customer deliveries as per planning issued by BG & their defined SLA. Operating placements from all the 6 plants of RIL as well as from PSUs like BPCL Mahul & Kochi, GAIL Gandhar, Pata & Vijaipur.

On-time Delivery - Ensuring that the material is delivered on time to the plants & customers as per defined SLA.

Asset optimization - Improve turnaround time of vehicles thereby improving asset utilization with enough vehicles in each circuit to meet per day requirement as well as any exigencies. New gas tanker induction process is initiated. Actively involved in procurement & contracting process.

Driving RT safety - Involvement in Vehicle management, Driver management (antecedent verification), Journey management, transporter safety management (EEFCV process) and off-site emergency initiatives to promote Road transportation safety for RIL.

Timely resolution of transporters issue related to their shortages, detention, routine issues about placement, etc.

Distribution incident related fatalities and overall Incidents per million Kms monitoring – To Zero.

Compliance to statutory norms in gas tanker operations to be monitored. Monitoring of safety certification as per PESO i.e., Rule-18 (once in a year), Rule-19 (once in five years), Rule-43, etc. to be carried out in the complete gas tanker fleet strength of over 500+ nos.

Co-ordinating with the gas tanker safety certifying agencies & the TPI appointed on the modalities involved in the 500+ gas tankers safety process.

Presently involved in the project of strengthening the weakest part of the gas tanker i.e., the PG (pressure gauge) by providing a Shroud of min. 10 cms thick welded on to a base plate as well as dome cover protection for top loading gas tankers. This project involves all the 500+ gas tankers to be modified & duly approved by PESO i.e., 1st & 2nd approval along with their safety certification.

Day to day contact with Transporters, Procurement dept, Planning dept for Planning Liquid movement. Actively involved in procurement & contracting process.

Planning of movement as per the daily stock statement issued from the plant for inward stock movements & Generation of MIS Reports.
