PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

First-Line Supervisor of Mechanic, Installer, and Repairer

Plans, supervises, and integrates the installation, operation, and maintenance of Combat Net Radio (CNR), to include satellite radio, Division Level Retransmission (RETRANS) and Blue Force Trackers (JCR).

Supervises and executes Retransmission team deployments; prepares maintenance and supply requests for unit level signal support; responsible for the health, welfare, mentorship, and training of 16 Soldiers.

Managed $1M+ in classified equipment vital to national security of soldiers and DA civilians; resulted in zero losses, and the continued integrity of all classified materials.

Install, troubleshoot, and perform field level maintenance on computer and network hardware; configure and manage computer networks.

Install, connect, or test underground or aboveground grounding systems.

Complete reports related to project status, progress, or other work details, using computer software.

Check antenna positioning to ensure specified azimuths or mechanical tilts and adjust as necessary. Transport equipment to work sites, using utility trucks and equipment trailers. Evaluate site survey for work performed.

Climb communication towers to install, replace, or repair antennas or auxiliary equipment used to transmit and receive radio waves. Perform maintenance or repair work on existing tower equipment, using hand or power tools.

Examine malfunctioning radio equipment to locate defects such as loose connections, broken wires, or burned-out components, using schematic diagrams and test equipment.
