Work Experience
Casual Clerk
YELLOW FREIGHT, dba YRC, Inc.
Marietta, Georgia
November 2022 to July 2023
I was a part time employee and not affiliated with their union. Casual Clerk’s can not be Union members. I worked 5 hrs a day unless I was filling in for someone else and worked their 8 hr shift. I made appointments for delivery orders and called city customers for pickups. Looked for freight that customers want to come and pick up. I delivered orders in the system that had been previously delivered. I separated delivery receipts of the previous day and scanned them into the system for proof of delivery. I checked in drivers and entered their BOLs into the system. I kept up with shortages in DRs (delivery receipts) for the previous day’s deliveries. I scanned the BOLs into the system. I was in the big lay off they had. I was a part time employee and pt employees are NOT in the union.
