I worked directly with the Psychiatrist, Medical Director, Clinical Director, Clinical Managers, Administrative staff, and Community Support Workers. Managed four MHRS offices in the DC area. Interviewed and trained new staff on the EHR System. Trained staff on the Department of Behavioral Health grievance policy to ensure proper procedures are followed if/when a complaint is filed. Trained staff on the Department of Behavioral Health dis-enrollment policy and monitor the process for compliance. Ensured HIPPA compliance by training staff and reviewing consumer files for proper documentation. Ensured all staff HR files complied with MHRS regulations, including signed confidentiality forms. Organized and conducted internal audits to aid continuous improvement efforts throughout all departments. Attended monthly meetings with the Department of Behavioral Health to discuss policy updates and changes and address compliance issues or concerns. Developed auditing requirements for specific departments that established consistency. Examined and designed internal processes and recommended changes to decrease payment and billing errors.
