●Limbs and Things is a private web application having online forms which collect data from clients. This data is collected as part of their business process.

●The objective of this project is to synchronize Limbs and Things online form data into salesforce. This helps L&T business to manage their clients in a cloud application and perform business activities using sales cloud. Once the end user completes an online form, then L&T web application will hand over this data to .Net service in the form of XML files. The .Net application here is used as a middleware between salesforce and L&T site since it cannot directly connect with salesforce. Once .Net service receives XML files, it’s then parsed and converted to Json file which is provided from salesforce.

●The .Net service will then call salesforce service using end point URL provided and this Json file will be then parsed in salesforce and data will be saved as records considering pre-defined mapping by client into “Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Opportunity Line Items, Products, Order, Order Line Items, Invoice, Invoice Line Items &Price book Entries”. There is also 2 ways sync implemented for Contact object which send data to L&T database via .Net service. This happens when contact gets updated in salesforce. This integration provides L&T to manage his client’s data in salesforce which is a CRM application and provide class leading business process.
