-Pressman/Rotary(Offset) Printing Press Operator

-Operate and set-up 3 color Didde 1981 Rotary Printing Press, producing forms and checks for a variety of different companies.

-Ran mostly roll-to-roll but also some fan folded continuous jobs. All were narrow web and most were multiple parts/plies.

-Substrates were all paper, varying in color, width, thickness, and carbon and non-carbon, including security paper.

-All inks water-based. Plates are metal and are bent then manually wrapped around plate cylinder and impressed onto the blanket.

-Quick and efficient changeovers and wash-ups, keeping the press clean and organized. Performed weekly preventative maintenance on press.

-Extensive use of dies (slitter, trim, perforation, drill, marginal line holes, and lithographic perforation). Extensive use of turnbar for double-sided printing.

-Major customers include: Curtis, and many heating and cooling companies, banks, car dealerships, and other businesses that utilize forms.

TLF GRAPHICS-ROCHESTER, NY –JANUARY 2015-JUNE 2015

-Pressman/Flexographic Printing Press Operator;

-Operated and set-up 6 color Nilpeter Flexographic Printing Presses, producing labels for a variety of industries;

-Ran mostly roll-to-roll but also some sheeted and fan-folded jobs. All were narrow web;

-Substrates were mostly paper but also utilized some plastic and vinyl, most with liners;

-Used both water-based and UV-based inks; utilized AVT vision system to assist in quality

-Quick and efficient changeovers and set-ups and kept a clean press. Performed preventative maintenance on press as needed

-Extensive use a dies (perforation, slitter, undercuts, buttcuts, magnetic, and label matrix) plus frequent use of turnbars for double-sided printing, over lamination films, and de-lamination-re-lamination processes;

-Ran mostly fan-folded orders but also some roll-to-roll jobs. All were narrow web. Also ran jobs requiring sequential numbering on press.

-Substrates were all paper;

-Utilized all UV inks with the exception of a water-black for the eye mark, including Security Thermochormatic.

-Quick and efficient changeovers and set-ups and kept press clean. Performed weekly preventative maintenance on press.

-Extensive use of turnbar for double-sided printing, sequential numbering, dies (trim, heat, perforation, and punches) and magnetic strips;

-Major customers included Ontario Lottery and Gaming, Disney, Rivers Casino, and Mohegan Sun.

BERRY PLASTICS(FORMERLY PLIANT)-MACEDON, NY-AUGUST 2006-DECEMBER 2012

-Pressman/Flexographic Printing Press Operator;

-Work with an assistant as a team;

-Operated and set-up 8-12 color W&H Flexographic Printing Presses (Stellaflex, Astraflex, and Novoflex), all Central Impression, producing packaging for mostly the food and beverage industry, but also personal care products; familiar with and practiced Safe Quality Foods(SQF)

-All jobs ran roll-to-roll. Substrates were all plastic films varying in thickness and primarily wide web;
