EXPERIENCE

SEPTEMBER 30. 1993 – 5EPTEMBER 30, 2005

ASSOCIATE MANAGER, Hoss’s steak & sea house, 814-***-****

I started at Hoss’s as a kid. I began my career in the dish room then became kitchen manager at the age of 18. I was promoted to assistant manager then associate manager. I supervised an average of 60 employees. All this by the age of 19. I worked every position in the restaurant. I was also selected to go to new store openings to train management and kitchen staff. I was also sent to many troubled stores to hire, fire and train. I left the company on very good terms.

DECEMBER 7, 2005 – SEPTEMBER 6, 2019

OWNER, main street cafe

I left Hoss’s (on good terms) to run my own business, Main Street Café (Sports Bar). Worked well over 80 hours a week and supervised an average of 36 employees. Did everything from bartending, cooking, serving, orders, inventory, payroll, scheduling and the list does not stop. I also ran a concession business on the side. To say I stayed busy would be an understatement. I sold Main Street Café and my concession business in 2021.

EDUCATION

1994

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, huntingdon area high school

Business course.

SKILLS

I know how to run/manage a restaurant/business..

Definitely manage and cook.

Willing to work any hours and any shifts.

Extremely hard worker and dedicated.

Ramp and food safety certified.

Confident I can meet/exceed standards.

OTHER

Growing up and post high school. It started with jealously of my best friend getting moved to the kitchen before me (we worked in the dish room). I promised him I would be his boss before he finished college as he worked his way through college. . I was and more. We still joke about this every time we introduce each other to someone. When I graduated I quickly found out that there was no secret college fund, as I rapidly excelled at Hoss’s I, banked all my money. At the age of 20 I began buying properties. Multi units, houses to rent, houses to flip, I even bought and rehabbed a church. I decided it was getting out of control, so by the age of 29 I began selling properties and once again banking money. This is how I was able to purchase my first dream job at the age of 30. This was no easy task. My mother never bragged about her young son owning and expensive and successful business. She bragged on how her son can make soup.

ACTIVITIES

I have a passion for sports. I do everything from fishing, hiking, play any sports to raising my children and include them in as many athletics as possible. When I get a day off I spend with kids or work on properties.

COMMENTS

I have zero doubts that I would be an asset. I am open minded and do what it takes to get the job done. I am a hard worker and dedicated to my employment. I can honestly say that this would not be a short term job. I am looking for a long term career. I have had many employees start off exceptional and fade after or before 90 days. On the other hand, I have had employees have a bad start. I personally trained a lot of them and made them more successful than I am. I do not make promises I cannot keep. This will not be the case with me. I can promise you this. In it to win it. Just give me a chance. Help me with my number two goal in life please.
