WORK EXPERIENCE

JULY 2018 – CURRENT: THE NAIROBI WEST HOSPITAL LTD

Duties and Responsibilities.

Serves as a physiotherapist in provision of treatment to inpatient and outpatient units.

Assessing, treating and evaluating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, post cardiac surgery cases.

Performing chest physiotherapy and suctioning to the critically ill patients in the ICU, NICU and pediatrics wards.

Treatment of outpatient clients with different modalities including; Transcuteneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, Ultrasound, joint mobilization and manipulation, mechanical traction, Huber and hydrotherapy.

Issuing assistive devices to the patients and training on how to use them and also application of skin traction.

Served as a physiotherapist to assess and decide on treatment to give both adults and children with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Ensuring that equipments used in carrying out physiotherapy duties are safe.

Non surgical Fracture management of patients.

Management of children with CTEV through Ponseti.
