In the imports department I was involved in giving updates of arrival of units, raising invoices for local and demurrage charges. I managed to trace all the pending charges to be collected and resulted in an increase in profits. In equipment control, it was involved in tracking container movements from import discharge up until loaded on vessels for export. Overcome to solve the issue of long sitting units from 500 TEUs up to 135 TEUS to utilize space and reduce storage costs from various depots. There was a gradual decrease in EDI Delay updates from 24 hours up to 5 hours within 3 months. Managed to maintain nil EDI error reports daily for more the 6 months.
