Work is with long-standing client customers on individual problem projects, analyzing business practices such as scheduling; business planning; supply chain procurement issues; contracts; and regulatory compliance (permits, licensing, meeting code specifications for products and systems. Examples: DIY Grid, LLC Toyoko, Japan (power, utilities, technical writing; Altria (Philip Morris) past contracts, and smaller technology companies. Convene regular meetings & reports on status. Had full responsibility on certain “high risk” suppliers; analyzed their business methods, processes and procedures; wrote policy manuals and guidelines; worked with I.T. in implementing improvements in programs and business goals.

Conducted weekly meetings with suppliers and NNS buyers on deliveries of products and materials under awarded purchase orders to the various suppliers.

From Mar 2020 to Feb 2022, applicant continued and expanded the prior work (2006-2019) with companies in Phoenix, Arizona and Washington, DC, and with others in research & development of new innovations primarily in RF communications, cellular networks, telecom system components (repeaters, in-line amplifiers), construction of facilities, utility systems and renewable energy. Applicant’s primary focus has been in the fields of utility, energy, electrical systems and controls. The work has commonly been connected to data networks & storage, and graphical interfaces used with Excel or Advanced Excel (“big data”). The work required a a high level of technical writing and communications (presentations, reports).

Work responsibility was for analyzing and implementing work processes and procedures; responsible for all purchasing activities; business development analysis; worked with State of Virginia agencies such as State Corporation Commission and State Technical Review Board (on constructions) ; also with local county and federal agencies on technology contracts, insurance and regulatory & licensing matters. Have received top level Federal government security clearances.

For DIY-Grid, LLC, a Japan company registered in Virginia in the field of energy conversion, circuit design, audio and digital transmission systems. Designed a system for automatic conversion of grid AC voltage to solar DC voltage for feeding industrial plant lighting systems.

For employee of National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the Washington, D.C. area, prepared a new design for patenting of a system and method for determining composition of materials using a laser beam heating system in a vacuum chamber whereby heat explosion produces beams of different wavelengths that correspond to material identifiers using a spectroscope.

For Qualcomm, San Diego, Calif., circuits used for processing data in integrate microprocessors such as the SnapDragon, using improvement to dual 2.4 GHz processors.

For IBM, new structure of FET transistor to avoid voltage breakdown by increasing, working voltage capability by design of microchip to protect by patenting.

For Liger Medical, LLC (a Utah company), engaged for describing with drawings as to structure and process for using, a Combination Digital Colposcope and Thermal Coagulator (medical device for detection of skin diseases.

For associate at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. a system for Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) used in robotics. Data analytics for machine learning.

For Sanyo (Korea), to obtain ownership of an improved solar cell design for more efficient conversion of light to electricity by layering a metal film on the back surface electrode.

Project Manager Jul 2019 – Mar 2020 (covid)

NAL Research Company, Manassas, Virginia

Project Manager & Business Analyst. Subject matter was in satellite communications, analog and digital devices, RF systems, cellular antennas and components, analysis of communication systems for delivery of services to residential customers.

Manages multiple projects covering engineering, manufacturing, software and IT, personnel; responsible for written and oral reports on status and future projections. Software such as Microsoft Project, Gnatt charts, Visio, Jira, Confluence. Subject matter was in analog and digital communications ground based and using low earth orbit (LEO) satellites.

Applicant was the point of contact at NAL to its largest customer. Conducted regular meetings with NAL’s most significant customer, maintained good communications & relationships, coordinating schedules and product technical requirements. The meetings were held internally and off-site at the customer’s office to discuss status, strategy & project details. Reported regularly on status to all stakeholders.
