Team Leader/Production

Injection Molding Plant that made car parts for Mercedes as well as other companies. Some of the major pieces that were made include seats for the M Class, side panels for the seats, and the carriage racks to move the seats forward and backwards just to name a few. My duties when not running a machine included relieving workers for their breaks, helping where ever needed. I had to learn all the jobs in order to be a team leader so I could help anybody who may have gotten behind. Look over parts as part of Quality Assurance to make sure defective parts were not sent to the customer.

When Crown Park sold the resort, we were given severance pay for 3 months. At the time, I was 2 months pregnant with my first child. My husband and I decided that I would stay home with her so she would not have to go to daycare. When we moved to Mississippi, she was 3 months old. My husband started driving a truck and was gone all week. I basically became a single parent until he came home on the weekends. Nineteen months later we were blessed with our son. I had no desire to work due to not wanting to miss a single thing my babies were doing. I was fulltime caregiver exhausted all of the time. As they both started school, I decided I wanted to get back into the public because I miss people. Nobody seemed to want to hire me due to not working for so long. I continued to be mother, Dr, nurse, cook, teacher, taxi driver, maid, boo boo kisser and hero to my kids as they deserved. In March our house burned and it was and still is hard on everybody. I need to go back to work now to be able to afford a house and kids .The rest of my work experience includes manufacturing work, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Home Health Aide, Managing restaurants. I moved to Tennessee from Alabama in 2003 and I have enjoyed being in management and working with the public. Being in management for Crown Park has taken me in many different directions. I’ve learned just about every body’s job so that I could pitch in when needed in different departments. I have run the front desk, checked people in, and answered the phones, assisted with customer issues as well as angry customers. I have run the dispatch department to dispatch tours out and take tour information in. I have helped with data entry all the way up to helping the Sales Managers when they didn’t have the right answers. A few times I’ve had to OPC on the street because we had booths that needed to be open. My passion is working with the public. I love people and love to help in any way that I possibly can. In 2009 I moved to Mississippi with my new born daughter to be close to my parents. I would like to work in a place where there are many career opportunities available to reach goals.
