UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT

Analysis of cutting forces on Aluminum and Mild steel by using Lathe Tool Dynamometer. The focus was on understanding the forces encountered when cutting aluminum and mild steel using a lathe.

• During the experimentation, various cutting parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut were carefully controlled and monitored. This allowed for a systematic investigation of the effects of these parameters on the cutting forces exerted on both aluminum and mild steel.

• The collected data from the Late Dynamometer was analysed to determine the cutting forces in terms of magnitude and direction.

• The analysis of cutting forces on aluminum and mild steel using a Lathe Tool Dynamometer provided valuable insights into the machining process. It enabled a deeper understanding of the forces exerted during cutting operations and facilitates the optimization of machining parameters for improved performance and productivity.
