The Director of Community Relations targets stabilized occupancy at Frank Residences through proven effective professional networking-outreach programs to build robust referral relationships with the clinical and placement professionals. The DCR promotes the positive image of FR through public relations activities, events, social media, and initiatives. The DCR works closely with the FR Operations team to guide and support the application, assessment, and placement process for prospective residents and their families in accordance with current federal and state guidelines as well as in accordance with FR established policies and procedures. The DCR aligns efforts with the FR Sales and Marketing team to take primary responsibility for the community–based promotions initiatives.

ALMAVIA OF SAN RAFAEL 2022 April – 2023 February SALES COUNSELOR

Achieved 95% occupancy in 5 months from an April 72% through consistent efforts and strong follow-up. Hosted Hospice Home Care group events. Outreach weekly to SNFs, Board & Cares, Geriatric Doctors, Geriatric Care Managers, Hospital Discharge Planners. As Sales Counselor managed my own book of business and supported Sales Director with management of documents through Contract so that the move completed and Contract signed. In charge of Business Development, all outside networking. Became Committee Member of Marin Section on Aging and San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Committee. Continued to build trusted and strong community partnerships/referral sources who call me as preferred referral. Executed several networking events held on site that were successfully attended which raised our brand in the community. Enhanced first touch experience for visitors by sprucing up tired looking entry and courtyard. COGIR OF SAN RAFAEL MEMORY CARE 2021 to 2022 COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIRECTOR July -February Grew Occupancy from 62% in July to 82% December. Built from ground up sales systems with no permanent ED in place for 6 months. Was a crucial stabilizing force for this new acquisition of a new, 2 year old senior living company. Again worked to enhance first touch experience for visitors, took an old database of over 600 dated leads and qualified down to a working 90, began a media marketing push to bring brand awareness to top of mind for the outer community. Created event marketing in the midst of Covid crisis with a Memory Café and made excellent relations with Marin County networking groups. CAREFIELD LIVING CASTRO VALLEY & PLEASANTON 2021 February - July DIRECTOR OF SALES

Director over two communities Carefield Castro Valley and Carefield Pleasanton. Started in February 2021 and within 2 months have increased occupancy from a bottom of under 30% to 45%. Brought rigor to the Sales Process, worked to enhance first touch experience for visitors, improving data base, began a media marketing push to bring brand awareness to top of mind for the outer community. Overhauled pricing position.

THE POINT AT ROCKRIDGE 2018-2021 DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING

Moved the Occupancy Needle from 78% to 100% IL/AL/MC pre-Covid and than during Covid height maintained 92%. Established “2018 & 2019 Best Senior Living” readers poll designation for The J and Oakland Magazine. Partnered with several Hospice Home Health companies. Co-Sponsor with local home care agency to support traffic feed into Memory Café event marketing. Co-Sponsor with hospice agency for a monthly bereavement group. Met monthly goals for Outreach to SNFs, Board & Cares, Geriatric Doctors, Geriatric Care Managers, Hospital Discharge Planners and competitors.

Created successful event marketing programs; Piano at The Point, Memory Café at The Point. Established outreach presentation program for corporate employee groups; Cliff Bar. Project Contract Position to support daily sales staff and ramp up outreach. Goals have been met with the Doubling of occupancy in a poor economy where buyer position had been stalled for several years. In 6 months connected with 100’s of community institutions, brought them on site for tours and meetings that have resulted in over 30 community partnerships from the estate planning and senior services channels, who will provide referrals. Produced on site events that resulted in a sell out audience. Created PR channels and helped refine marketing strategy and branding.

PACIFICA SENIOR LIVING SAN LEANDRO 2010-2011 COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIRECTOR

Through intensive marketing and outreach work for this assisted living community, occupancy went from 64% to 102% within 7 months, despite the economic environment . Developed from the ground up, contact list for local discharge nurses and skilled nursing facilities. Strengthened relationships with independent referral sources, handled social networking, worked to connect and create community partnerships, executed an event marketing program, developed a marketing plan and prepared advertising.
