Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparing sweets: Halwais are skilled in making a wide range of traditional Indian sweets, such as ladoos, jalebis, barfis, imartis, gulab jamuns, and more. They carefully measure and mix ingredients, cook them to perfection, and shape the sweets into attractive forms.

Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness: Halwais must ensure their workspace, utensils, and ingredients are clean and hygienic. They follow strict food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Creating new recipes: In addition to making traditional sweets, halwais may also come up with new recipes or modify existing ones to introduce new flavors and varieties. They experiment with different ingredients and techniques to create unique and delicious treats.
