For over two decades, providing quality therapy & interpreter services has been my passion. Conducted psychotherapy, psycho-social assessments, and psycho-education services for clients upon request. Handled multiple contracts through private insurance and Medicare. Interviewed, assessed, and established care plans for maximum client stabilization & outpatient success. Consultation and advocacy services delivered to outside institutions such as schools, mental-health hospitals, police, SWAT and interpreter agencies. Rape Victim Advocates – Deaf Services Counselor

2001-2004

Facilitated individual, group, and family counseling to Deaf people who experienced any form of sexual abuse/trauma. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered approaches utilized. Co-managed the DAC (Deaf Advisory Council) to effectively coordinate 24/7 medical advocacy ER service/schedule to Deaf survivors of sexual assault in Chicago-metro area hospitals. Monthly reports submitted to IDCJ (IL. Dept. of Criminal Justice). Public speaking in schools, hospitals & courtrooms. Provided expert witness testimony in court trials upon request.
