Support investors in regulatory, commercial, and technical issues related to power generation plants, with focus on the Brazilian market.

Support investors on the organization and conduction of due diligences for generation projects.

Provide auditing services as Accredited Assessor for the Hydropower Sustainability Standard issued by the International Hydropower Association - Ongoing assessment of a 3GW+ hydro power plant as of March 2023

Provide auditing services as Certified Leader Auditor in Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2015.

Provide technical services in arbitration processes. Statkraft Group (2016 – 2021)

As O&M Executive Director of the European renewable energy company Statkraft in Brazil, was responsible for the Engineering, Operations, Dam Safety, HSSE and Maintenance activities for 18 generation assets located across the country, comprising hydro and wind technologies with a team of 102 workers. Achievements during this period include the successful internalization of O&M activities for post-warranty wind farms and the prompt emergency response to critical flooding events in hydro power plants, both having mobilized teams involving virtually all business areas within the company. Main assignments:

Control the area's budget and prepare long-term plans, including workforce.

Guarantee maximum availability of operating hydro and wind assets and define their optimized maintenance schedule. Act in corrective electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenances.

Control the operation of the entire generation park, ensuring the functionality of back-up systems in the event of power and/or communication failures.

Promote the technological update of the generation park, including condition analysis systems for both hydro and wind plants.

Internalize the maintenance of wind assets. Create the necessary infrastructure, hire, and train teams, formulate the strategy and negotiate the termination of contract with the OEM service provider. Coordinate the transition period.

Take responsibility for the safety of workers, their training and well-being. Take care of the technical and leadership training of the teams.

Support M&A activities regarding target evaluation, due diligences, team sizing, and search for synergies.

Support the development of greenfield solar and wind projects.

Support the "Prepare for Operation" phase of wind farms under construction, defining the supplier’s liability limits. Hire and train staff, as well as their gradual integration with the new assets.

Provide technical support for solar generation projects. Scale necessary operation and maintenance teams.

Create the Dam Safety department and ensure compliance with regulations and the company’s standards.

Perform as Incident Commander in emergency response situations in the generation area. Improve and update the Emergency Response Plan for all generation assets. Promote training and drills with teams. Ensure good communication with stakeholders - civil defense, local authorities, nearby population, etc. Previously, was also Director of the O&M service provider branch of the group, serving several customers spread all over the country operating wind and hydro power plants. At the same time was also the Project Manager of the process which eventually led to its successful divestment with customer recognition, value added to the shareholder and proper care with employees. Main assignments:

Control the budget. Control contracts for the provision of services to third parties.

Study possible options for divestment and propose alternatives to the board.

Carry out the selected divestment alternative, paying attention to legal, compliance and labor issues. AES Group (2005 – 2008)

With the USA-based AES Group in Brazil, as COO and Executive Senior Vice-President of Generation and Energy Management, was responsible for managing all power generation companies in Brazil (thermal and hydro), engineering, negotiation, and procurement of the wholesale energy supply for the Group, and the management of the power trading company AES Infoenergy, with 320 direct workers and annual revenues exceeding US$ 2 billion. Restructured the existing organization to take the businesses to a high standard of operating excellence, being awarded for management of people, safety, and financial performance. Led negotiations and communications with stakeholders and government-level bodies. Main assignments:

Control the area's budget and prepare long-term plans, including workforce.

Guarantee maximum availability of operating hydro and thermal assets and define their optimized maintenance schedule. Act in corrective electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance.

Create the Operation Center for the hydroelectric plants.

Support M&A activities regarding target evaluation, team sizing, and search for synergies.

Manage the effects of the fuel shortage crisis for the thermoelectric plant and work with the National Electric System Operator - ONS and the Brazilian Ministry of Energy in the search for solutions.

Renegotiate gas contract with international supplier in Argentina. Coordinate the preparation of international arbitration.

Lead negotiations with international gas turbine supplier in the USA for loss recovery after technical failure. Coordinated the AES Corporation’s multi-cultural global task force addressed to the feasibility of hydroelectric investments worldwide, as well as coordinated the regional Latin American task force focused on small hydroelectric power stations.

Certified Board Member by IBGC, has served the following Boards: Companhia Brasiliana de Energia (holding company), AES Tietê, AES Sul and Eletropaulo Metropolitana. Was also Member of the Board at APINE (Brazilian Association of Independent Power Producers) and President of the Trustee Council at COGE Foundation. EDP Group (2000 – 2005)

With the European-based EDP Group in Brazil, as a Generation Business Tracking and Control Director, tracked and controlled the generation expansion budget, analyzed investment attractiveness and new project-financed business proposals, as well as energy trading deals. Conducted bidding processes for hydro generation concession granting auctions promoted by the Brazilian Energy Regulatory Agency, one of which resulting in the successful Peixe Angical hydro project. Main assignments:

Control the area's budget.

Support the development of hydro and thermoelectric generation projects, including economic and financial assessment. Prepare projects for energy sale at federal auction.

Negotiate the gas contract for greenfield thermoelectric project.

Coordinate the successful sale process of a gas turbine in the international market. As Administrative-Financial Executive Director at Fafen Energia (thermal cogeneration power plant) and Enerpeixe

(large hydro power plant), was responsible for the implementation and operation of the Financial and Administrative areas of the companies from ground-up, led the negotiation for a US$ 350 million debt agreement, long-term power purchase, fuel acquisition and energy conversion agreements as well as addressing the applicable tax issues. Actively participated in the M&A negotiations and agreements carried out to modify their capital structure. Main assignments:

Coordinate the negotiation of a financing contract for the construction of the hydroelectric plant with the National Development Bank.

Control the area's budget.

Lead the import processes for thermoelectric equipment.

Coordinate the preparation of information for the sale of participation in the thermal plant. Responsible for the Data Room and interface with the buyer.
