As an officer, enforced criminal and traffic laws under Arizona Revised Statutes, and testified on behalf of the State of Arizona in court hearings. Performed inspections on vehicles to deter theft and investigate, and apprehended suspects if the vehicle was stolen. Completed training on Fraudulent Document Recognition. Other duties included issuing citations, filing various reports, updating daily logs, traffic enforcement, motorist assistance and submitted charges / reports on defendants for criminal violations. I have approximately 60 semester credits in Administration of Justice Studies. United States Marine Corps. October 1995 – September 1998 In 1996 I was stationed in Silverdale, Washington and attached to a security forces company on a Naval Submarine base. I obtained a secret clearance and guarded strategic weapons vital to national security. My unit conducted patrols in restricted areas to investigate signs of terrorists attempting to gather intelligence about U. S. operations and weapons

In 1997, I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California and assigned to a counter-terrorism task force called the Maritime Special Purpose Force. This unit was tasked with handling hostage situations, special operations, force-recon support and many other duties. I specialized in various weapons, applied demolitions, military operations in urban terrain, counter-terrorism and building searches. As a Marine, I received two letters of appreciation, while on active duty in the U.S. Marines and was awarded the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. 3
