• Language and Linguistics provide insights regarding the key properties and functions of human language in general and the role of linguistics in providing a framework for the understanding of language.
• English for Business purpose (ESP) which focuses on learning and communicating English for business purposes. Enable students to build their Language and confidence to use English in a wide range of business and social situations.
• Reading and Writing which develops practical critical thinking strategies for students. The ability to synthesize, analyze, and apply information from different sources in a variety of contexts and is gradually polished with special emphasis on vocabulary learning and building. Real-life writing tasks presented with authentic Writing situations. Editing and proofreading exercises encourage students to refine their writing skills.
• Listening and speaking which focuses on student’s ability to gain ability in listening to new conversational situations with CD players/ Tape recorders and form their responses accordingly. The listening and speaking skill is Developed by designing appropriate work exercises and repeated practice enabling the students to perform in various situations by using exclusively English language.
• English Grammar which acts as a base for appropriately building the language for student’s learning English as a second or foreign language. Grammar rules are provided and practiced exhaustively as well as inferred from the list of examples giving the insight to students to use them properly in their use of English as a medium of communication.
• Online teaching via Blackboard interactive media for teaching and learning which focuses to learn online teaching for student success and retention with Blackboard assessment and insight tools during the COVID-19 period of 2020 and 2021. Face-to-face interaction is a more valuable mode of teaching than online teaching paradigm with its limited advantages.
