Appointed as the Federal Architect for The Bounty Hunter (BH) system, which serves as a crucial component in space electronic warfare, specifically focusing on Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Electromagnetic Interference

(EMI) detection and Geolocation (GEO) capabilities. This system is actively utilized by Combatant Commands.

The BH system represents an advanced technological solution for signal monitoring, interference detection, interference characterization, and ground- based GEO capabilities. Its primary objective is to enhance situational awareness concerning unprotected SATCOM links.

One of my key contributions to the project was driving the transition of the team towards the adoption of embedded processors, enabling Bounty Hunter to become a deployable system in a compact form factor. This involved the integration of microcontrollers, Raspberry PIs, and FPGAs into the BH infrastructure. Additionally, we harnessed the power of Machine Learning

(ML) models to detect satellite EMIs (Electromagnetic Interferences) and SOIs

(Signals of Interest) on these reduced platforms.

Furthermore, played a pivotal role in developing comprehensive program documentation, including DoDAF views, a System Engineering Plan, Risk Analysis plans, and Secure container deployment documents. One notable achievement was successfully demonstrating the feasibility of running BH within Docker containers on a Raspberry Pi, encompassing MongoDB, Node.js, RabbitMQ, and proprietary BH containers tailored for geolocation purposes.

Assumed the role of a Functional Architect during the development of an automation project, where my responsibilities included designing and overseeing the auditing and software stream-building processes. As a result of these efforts, we achieved a remarkable reduction in stream errors, decreasing them from a high 33% down to less than 2%.

Leveraging an MVC (Model-View-Controller) design and ASP.Net, I crafted a user-friendly, wizard-like information flow for EchoStar's television Set-Top Box software delivery, covering the entire journey from development to satellite delivery. To streamline resource management, we harnessed Computer Associates tools for automation.

In addition to these achievements, I played a significant role in the development of two crucial Java-based components. One of these components was responsible for parsing information streams during the automation process, while the other served as a precursor to a mobile application intended for customer use.

I also delivered key artifacts for the client, including Business Rules, detailed design documents, wireframe layouts, workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, software estimates, software risk assessments, and prototypes. Hired to develop a sophisticated NERC-compliant interface, which involved a multifaceted process: taking CAD files, converting them into XML format, storing them in an Oracle database, conducting in-depth analysis, and subsequently transmitting new XML data using SOAP messaging to an Enterprise Service Bus.

The project had previously posed challenges for Xcel over a span of several years, but within less than a year of my involvement, we successfully solidified the design, implemented the system, and rigorously tested it. This system now empowers Transmission Engineers to effortlessly submit CAD models containing GIS assets and attributes, with the assurance that the information will be seamlessly distributed across various databases within Xcel's infrastructure.

The technologies employed for this endeavor include Java, WebSphere, SOAP, Hibernate, and Linux virtual machines.

Innovatively developed a state-of-the-art Touch Screen demonstration utilizing C#, WPF, and Virtual Earth to showcase the DoDAF architecture through a mission vignette. This interactive demo effectively utilized virtualized systems and simulated personnel within an RPA Cloud environment. This versatile queue system was designed to accommodate five different types of media: E-mail, Fax, Voice, Voice Mail, and Web submissions. The architectural approach incorporated the Siebel E-mail Server for Rules Parsing, employed the Remedy/Oracle 8i database on a Sun Solaris platform for efficient message storage, and relied on Avaya's Message Care Product to route new media to the DEFINITY switch via a Phantom call to the Universal Queue. To optimize agent productivity, customized software for agent desktops, enabling real-time monitoring of the Universal Queue and delivering screen pops based on the type of media.

Additionally, this role involved seamless interfacing with Intuity and CMS systems to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive solution. Collaborated closely with EDS to implement screen pops through a Remedy ARS (Action Request System) client. This required skillfully utilizing the Remedy API and OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) objects to communicate with the ARS client screens, populating them with data sourced from the DEFINITY switch for enhanced efficiency and user experience.
