Executive Vice President, Corporate – Managed and coordinated company-wide implementation of new accounting/operations/time/CRM software, Deltek Vantage Point. Business development for company-wide services. Oversight of Civil Engineering Department, Land Surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Departments. Took over management of daily operations of the Land Surveying/SUE Departments upon resignation of the Director. Restructured & reorganized the department, replaced 80% of the staff, expanded services within the department including ground penetration radar services. Expanded contract involvement for Surveying and SUE contracts with Prime Engineers and Contractors. Proposal preparation & coordination, billing.

Vice President, Civil Engineering – Responsible for leading the Civil Engineering Division for an 80+ person multi-discipline minority certified engineering firm. Deputy Director of Permits, Plans, and Approval (PAI) – Responsible for assisting the department director in overseeing a department of over 200 employees in 10 divisions. PAI manages permits, licensing, and plan review and approval for Baltimore County. The Deputy Director is responsible for special projects, such as evaluation of all PAI division processes to streamline for the implementation of an automated system, design and implementation of all public facing activities due of the COVID-19 regulations, evaluation and implementation of adopted legislation impacting plan review and permitting regulations such as the Development Impact Surcharge and Fee legislation, Bonding legislation, and the Standing legislation, assisted in managing and expediting the land development plan approval, permitting, and inspections for all County Executive priority projects and assisting County Council staff to research and shepherd key constituent development projects.

Director of Design - Responsible for opening and establishing a Maryland office for a 21-year-old Virginia based company with five offices in Northern Virginia. Ran the daily operations of the Maryland office, was the primary source of business development, responsible for staff growth and development, implementation of an in-office training program, billing and accounts receivable, reviewed all proposals and contracts, and approved all office production expenditures. In the first four years, grew the business from 0 to 35 employees with over $2 million of yearly revenue, $3 million under contract at the 5-year anniversary with another $500,000 in pending contracts, surpassing the office goals. Developed a client and business associate list of over 100 contacts, most local to the Maryland Office and new to the company.
