Served the Alice Community (people with limited income) to address the food insecurity need in the low-income population in Harrisonburg, VA.
Graduate and undergraduate students were divided into four groups
These four groups were called Data, Infrastructure, Hunger & Fundraising groups
we went to different Pantries to observe and serve there
Used valuable resources, read articles, and did lots of research.
Concluded senior citizens and children were most affected by food insecurity due to lack of available support and proposed solutions of providing shared resources to better reach these populations
