DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Applying strict “permit to work” system at the worksite & explaining the importance of the same to the workers.
• Preparing preventive measures to avoid the hazards identified in the project.
• Dealing with clients, consultants and government authorities on HSE related matters.
• Safety performance evaluation of sub-contractors.
• Ensuring Firefighting and First Aid facilities are in order. Responsible and accountable for safety documentation.
• Developing Health and safety training programs, training presentation and wherever necessary translated them into Hindi/English languages.
• Prepare weekly report of unsafe act, unsafe condition & open unsafe condition, sharing it with management to facilitate decision making.
• Creating safety awareness among workers through Tool box talks, induction / Orientation / mass meetings.
• Carrying out safety inspection of work locations, work method, Men, Machinery, Material, and Tool Tackles.
