Work Responsibilities as Production & Quality Control Engineer:

• Monitoring Emails on regular basis and co ordinating with the team for production planning on basis of approved drawings from vendors and ensure to get understood thoroughly by team for hassle free production on time.

• Check availability of required materials and to confirm & update the same with related departments.

• To perform In house NDT tests (Visual, Dye Penetrant & Hydro test) for Verification and Confirmation of job (as per ASME Section V) and approved QAP.

• Handling Customer’s audits and preparing action plans for Non conformity during audits.

• To visit and conduct In-process and Final Inspection at Vendor’s place.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments like Digital Vernier meter, Micrometer, Filler gauge, Radius gauge, DFT meter, Ultrasonic thickness gauge, Profilometer and also to carry out the calibration by sending them to NABL accredited Lab and maintain the records of the same.

• Implementation of Gauges, Templates, Jigs and Fixtures concept for more accuracy and efficient output.

• Assisting team for making Bill of Material from approved drawings.

• Updating productivity on daily basis to reporting manager.

• To be ensure material is ready for Shot blasting and followed by Painting schemes approved by customer if any after paint adhesion test.

• Able to make suggestions in metals to be used in order to help our customers with wear issues with our product.

• Able to read drawings and customers specifications in order to make appropriate recommendations.
