The topics covered are clinical assessment; decision making and diagnostic skills; instruction and evaluation of beside procedures such as sutures, joint injections, manipulation, incision & draining; professional development, clinic management and administration; health care ethics; patient education.

Associate Professor of the Critical Care Program at Conestoga College: 1996-1997 Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Coordinated and instructed Foundations of Critical Care II for the summer and winter semesters. This is an anatomy and physiology course for critical care nurses. Taught basic EKG interpretation for each semester as well.
Health Care Innovation & Quality Improvement
Project leader. 2016-2017. Lead the implementation of a telemedicine program for the St. Petersburg, Florida region of DaVita. I interviewed vendors and evaluated their products to see if DaVita could utilize telemedicine for patients who are homebound. After much work and evaluation of the present IT system, telemedicine was placed on hold due to corporate rebranding c.
Quality Improvement. Developed Near Miss and Medical Error Reporting System for Ambulatory Care. 2016-2017. (This was place on hold during corporate rebranding)
Clinical Innovation. Group Medical Appointments. Lead the implementation of eight-week programs for diabetic patients with hemoglobin A1C levels above 9. Each week patients attend a two-hour education session on diabetes with twelve other patients, a provider, and health care staff to increase understanding and compliance of diabetic diets, medications and exercise regimes to improve their diabetes.
