Start up airline located at Chicago O’Hare. Currently, my position has been reduced to 2 days a week due to the certification process. Assisted in start up of station, worked closely with the Dept of Aviation to ensure all policies and procedures were met. Interacted with vendors to assure training was accomplished and assisted vendors with on-the-job duties. Actively participated in proving runs to obtain certification. Project Management.

Assisted with Station Opening, Managed Customer Service and Ramp Operations. Contract Negotiations, payroll, HR duties, hired all team members. Created a high-level team with little turnover in 13 years. High emphasis on safety and security, zero accidents during my tenure as well as passing all regulatory inspections for 13 years in a row. Assisted our Canadian Stations with employee relations, traveled and spoke to employee groups with concentration on working as a team and taking corrective action in procedures that were not effectively working. Created the training department for Chicago Station. Mentored new employees entering the industry for the first time. During the pandemic worked remotely on the U.S. back to work under Covid Procedures program. Due to the pandemic when international flights opened back up due to costs Porter made the decision to go with a 3rd party vendor to operate the Chicago Station.

Responsible for 600 employees, Customer Service, Ramp Service, Training Dept, Payroll, Human Resources, Sky Cap, Maintenance Dept, Call Center, Cash Control office for inflight and counter revenue. Budgeting, also managed their commuter airline Chicago Express. Oversight of all aspects of the airline at Chicago Midway. Worked on various automation projects with the IT dept.

ATA went bankrupt in 2008, my last duties were assisting in the shut down and disposition of all property.
