I am single-minded and eager to make the most of the terrible circumstances many Ukrainian refugees face as they start a new life in a new country. In my hometown of Kharkiv, I served in the National Police of Ukraine as a psychologist. I emigrated to Slidell, Louisiana in August 2022 and have been working hard to get a fresh start in my new community. I currently ride DoorDash. Now I moved to New York City because my daughter went to college in New York City. And here I am forced to start building a new life.
