BACKGROUND

Position: Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer - Specialist Variety of assignments including, Convertion of .Net 1.1 web app to .Net 4.5 MVC web app, //Intax.In.Gov the MVC web app that all Indiana businesses must use to file their state taxes. Position: Senior Software Engineer - Software development, deployment, and management of CDHP (Consumer Driven Health Plans) enterprise applications utilizing Biztalk file handling for Enrollment data and Web Services for financial transactions from Insurance companies to fiduciaries. Project Examples:

• RealMed.com logic addition - Added com logic to validate ICD9/10 institutional claim ICD codes for appropriate service date usage relative to CMS guidelines. This project is completely covered via Test Driven Development

(TDD) utilizing MSTest (VisualStudio.QualityTools.UnitTestFramework). All claim edits are covered via their Unit test methods and xml based data feed. This project also started our agile project management methodology working with a scrum team composed of Developers, Product Owner, and QA testers. Attention was given to the Technical Debt that had accumulated over the years and Refactoring phases were given recourses and time.

• Consumer Driven Heath Plans membership data exchange with health plans and fiduciaries using BizTalk 2005, LLBLGenPro ORM data layer to SQLServer 2005, C# com, WS FTP for file exchanges. Custom file sweeper object was created using reflection to instantiate appropriate Customer object for the file being swept.

• File exchange batch monitor system for file exchange alerting using an XML based rule set as a runtime configuration. Written using dynamic sql generation and email notification.

• File Sweeper built from late binding (Reflection) assembly/method being looked up from config file based upon directory being swept. The location of the file is derived from the scheduled call as a passed argument, and then the appropriate assembly to parse the file is instantiated and passed the file pointer. This project allowed us to completely replace the dependency of Biztalk with custom code.

• File parsing classes using StreamReader, MemoryStream & XmlWriter to validate and consume trading partner EDI files and interface with the Lighthouse1 membership and HRA account backend system.

• ASP.Net Web project, C# code behind interfacing with SqlServer to Auto Create support tickets.

• EFT Prenote Web Service project, Soap Web Services based on client WSDL implementing method calls for ABA Validation (routing number), EFT Search, EFT Add, EFT Terminate, EFT History, HTML/JavaScript presentation, C# com web services.

• RealMed.com support and enhancements, HTML/JavaScript, C# com called through XMLHttpPost, PDF document generation using Active PDF. Client web page data cache fix to update client-side xml cache when web service callback returns with updated information.

• RealMed.com support - Error mapping logic via a Static Class and Static Method which auto populate Oracle table with health claim EDI fields that didn’t pass edit check.

• RealMed.com addition - Added to the Patient Statement screens the ability to add user free hand notes. New screen (page), html, java script, web services, c# com, print screen xml configuration using Active PDF. Simon Property Group (1995 –2000)
