Monitoring the condition of Transmission and sub transmission powerline structures,conductors,earthwire, tracks,wayleave and insulators. Submission of detailed reports and maintenance schedule after line inspection to the lines foreperson. Maintaining and refurbishment of national grid and sub transmission powerline feeders 88kv,132kv,330kv,420kv ensuring normal operations to serve the nations needs with reliable power.Full structure earthing with circuit main earth's as well with additional earth's when needed. Insulator replacement 88kv,132kv,330kv and 420kv all feeders (dead method). Broken or damaged conductor repairs and joining with correct dies to achieve standard joints.Replacement of D shackles on Guy Supported structures (ASG towers).Structure dressing H structure and intermediate. Carrying out lines and substation construction .Tower assembly,members replacement and refurbishment.Conductor and earth wire running, machine positioning, stringing,sagging,mid span compression joints. Erection of platform and positioning of anchor blocks. Jumpering ensuring the correct arch measurement is achieved and installationn of jumper weights when necessary. Stay complete replacement and stay make offs. OPGW installation on transmission powerline network. Powerline wayleave, bush clearing, track maintenance,inspections and patrols. Underground cables handling excavations and laying. MV cable terminations. I'm responsible for using proper working safety documents and ensure my team is taking full responsibility on safety.
