• Assist in office-based procedures, e.g., cystoscopy, myomectomy, IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal, vaginal exams and pap smears, EMB.

• Tracks abnormal lab results to confirm that patients had appropriate follow-up as ordered while also being a resource person for patients requesting lab results and requisition.

• Triaged patient phone calls, prescribing, counseling and making follow-up for clinically related calls via Telemedicine.

• Assisted with guiding patients through the surgical process

• Obtained outside medical records and images prior to initial consult.

• Coordinate perioperative planning. Determine need for medical clearance and ensure contact and documentation with appropriate providers.

• Review perioperative course with patients in advance of surgery including orientation to the hospital, scheduling procedures, timing of surgery, anesthesia evaluation, preoperative lab testing and follow up, anticipated hospital course, prescription information.

• Telephone patients after discharge and coordinate the evaluation and management of the recovery period, including postoperative complications.

• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care.

• Construct thoughtful differential diagnoses tailored to individualized evidenced based treatment plans.

• Develops, delegates and evaluates the care plans for patients in collaboration with other disciplines such as urology, GYN, Internal medicine, oncology, behavioral health.
