A conscientious professional Nurse/Midwife committed to improving standards of care through evaluation of practice, knowledge of research and lifelong learning. I am looking for a position in which I can work with my family centered philosophy of care that is evidence –base, couple with my experience gain from an institution like the district hospital limbe which is a referral center. Being single, I am flexible and ready to work anywhere and under hard conditions.

HND in Nursing with second class upper

Clinical placement include; Health centre, District, Regional and Reference hospitals.

Midwifery Clinical placement involve wards like the Maternity, ANC, IWC, Family Planning units, Post Natal word and the Nursery.

Professional Experience

November 2014-january 2015 Work at the Saint Veronica medical centre Buea

Worked at the Female medicale ward as a nurse. Carrying out all range of activities in the medical ward.

november 2015- january 2016 worked at Lquintinie hospital Douala

Work at the joint ANC, IWC and Family Planning Units carrying out activities like vaccination, giving health talks, weighting babies and making referral to the pediatrician of cases that need be, counselling, Booking women for ANC, interpreting results and Working with the Gyecologist

All worked as a maternity staff in the joint maternity/post natal/Nursery ward of the district hospital from Pre-eclampsia to PPH and taking care of prematures in the the incubator

Also worked in the TB UNIT

Working Here in the capacity as the head of the surgical unit and incharge of the theatre. Being a start up institution I am working in the Medical and maternity units and incharge of all consultations at night and on week ends.

Work as a nurse at GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTRE DOUALA CAMEROON

. Worked here as the head nurse of the medical unit. Carrying out consultation and deliveries when the doctor is not around.

October 2020 to December 2021, Worked at Regina Pacis Hospital Mutengene Cameroon

Working here as the theatre nurse assisting the surgeon during operation.

. Also works in the wards, the male and female medical ward, the Male and female surgical wards giving care to patients and also serve their treatment and carry out consultation when the doctor is not around.

. March 2022 till present, working at MOUNT MARY HOSPITAL BUEA. Working here in the medical and surgical unit as the head nurse. Incharge of consultation at night when the doctor is not around.

Communication: My strong communication skills have been developed through report writing and small group presentations given during my studies and also through my various work experiences. As an agency worker I regularly meet and have to develop effective relationships with new people, both co-worker and patients. Consequently I am skilled in communicating at the appropriate level.

Can also carry out procedures such as suturing,consultation,and can also assist the doctor during surgery, and can also do circumcision.
