Daily management of the Crete DC overseeing a group of 120 people
Distribute 330M pounds of product annually.

Audited all 3rd party providers (OCS) to make sure they were following standards
Worked with Supply Chain, Customer Success and Sales to add loads to the outbound matrix when other facilities are behind.
Strict adherence to customer guidelines on all shipment to include proper temp recorders, placement, wrap, corner boards and placarding.
Lead the team in Food logic and inbound quality identifying issues to resolution.
Worked with carriers, tracked loads in transit and handled OS&D, detention and freight payables issues.
Smithfield / Cooks - Continued
Handled carrier contract and insurance issues as well as total loss issues due to carrier incident.
Worked with QA and scheduling to keep the flow of Seasonal ham moving at the proper temps as well as on time and in full.
Worked with plant scheduling to keep the WIP product flowing in to production so that there were no product disruptions.
Negotiated Carrier and 3PL storage, handling, and accessorial rates. Audited all of Cooks OCS facilities storing seasonal ham to make sure they were compliant with Cooks warehouse standards.
Managed Cooks Transportation budget of 20M a year and Warehousing budget of 13 million. Developed T&W services tied together in 3 different markets to fix supply chain issues.
Communication
Implemented new procedures communicating both up and down the chain of command eliminating wasteful spend on 3pl services and CHEP.
Leadership
Successfully lead the team to achieve MBO goals while maintaining excellent customer service.
