I started at The Little Store of Matherville in August of 2010. My initial job title was cashier. My responsibilities were run cash register, credit/debit transactions, gas pump readings, printing/cashing lotto tickets, stock coolers and shelves and maintain a clean work environment for customers as well as other employees. Within two years I was trained on ordering and talking to vendors regarding various products. Within three years, I was officially Manager. Since receiving the manager title, I have maintained my previous job duties as well as Program register. I of add the correct name, tax code, tax status and price to each item. Maintained up-to-date knowledge of product and service changes. I talk with various vendors regarding new products coming in as well as price changes. I calculate cost to maintain retail percentages and update item with correct cost. Updated customer orders from start to finish in an accurate and timely manner. Count items and determine quantities to be ordered. I make sure orders are submitted when due to ensure the proper delivery date/time. Trained staff on operating procedures and company services. Promotion Support Services Inc – Davenport, IA

I started at Promotion Support Services as a transcriptionist. My job duties included listening to automated phone calls through a head set and typing in required fields what caller was saying. Most jobs consisted of callers name, address, and phone number. Once callers information was typed, that particular call was flagged whether it was good or if the call was incomplete. After a few weeks, I was moved into quality control. In Quality Control, I listened to calls that were flagged as incorrect, and relistened to see if I could hear/transcribe more information than originally entered. Changed calls from incomplete to accurate if I was able to transcribe further information. I was then moved up to trainer. In this position, I trained new hires on how to work the computer system as well as what to listen for and what the job specific requirements were. After training, I was quality coach I would work on the transcription floor and listen to calls that employees couldn't understand to eliminate the quality control step. I moved up to team leader. With this position, I handed out jobs to transcriptionist along with any job updates. I would also be available to listen to call a transcriptionist couldn't understand. I was then offered the Client Service Representative position. This job entailed talking to clients to set up new and maintain existing jobs. I mainly worked with fulfillment clients. When a job was transcribed the callers information was put into a database and address labels were generated. These were then sent to fulfillment to send out client specific information. My main clients were pharmaceutical clients. I made sure that information sent to us was accurate and properly put in the correct database for consumer pharmaceutical needs. I generated job instructions based on client needs and handed them out for a specific job. I would also double check to ensure the correct letter and brochures were being sent to the correct consumer based on job id's. Pharmaceutical is very time sensitive and accuracy is very important. If there was a problem with a database or mailing, I would work with the client to get issues resolved in a timely manner. I supervised jobs for full security clearance clients such as PII's, PHI's. I supervised specific outbound call projects. I would make sure information received from a caller was accurately entered into a spreadsheet and made sure this was sent to client by the due date of the job.
