SUMMARY

From 2020 to the present, I’ve been a self-employed maintenance worker assisting with diagnosing and making repairs to commercial and residential properties as required. At times using my hands, as well as various times utilizing my skills to operate different power tools to accomplish the necessary repairs. Most repairs were to HVAC systems or related equipment, generators, heating, air conditioning, and duct work. At times painting, spackling, taping, removing, and rebuilding walls, running electrical wires and connecting to electrical boxes. EXPERIENCE

2018-2020 Security Officer Parx Casino, Bensalem, Pa. As a Parx Casino Security Officer my primary responsibility is to detect and deter underage gambling and drinking. In addition, I monitor surroundings and all times providing the necessary assistance to patrons and staff where required. Various assignments within the casino are performed, checking ID’s, escorting money, chips, people and outside vendors, guests and repairmen. I accurately document incidents as they occur and report all unusual activity to the shift manager.

2007-2018 Bensalem School District, Bensalem, PA., Instructional Assistant I worked closely in the classroom with Middle School students and the teacher to accomplish learning objectives. I assisted the teacher in maintaining a teaching environment during various instructional activities. When necessary I supervised students in hallways, directed them during emergency drills and evacuations to ensure emergency procedures were followed.
