• Actively involved in three (3) different major IPO audits between 2019 and 2021 – Marvai LifeSciences (raised $1.37 billion in funding), PagerDuty and Talis Biomedical Corporation.

• Manages the relationship with client C-suite executives and discusses complex transactions worth $3.1million as the total acquisition consideration for the purchase of an entity called Mock-V by Maravai LifeSciences.

• Leverages the use of Digital and Analytical tools in the audit of the Maravai Lifesciences and PageDuty Revenue transaction process of US$284m and US$214m respectively with efficiency on the engagements. The engagement economics increased ~32% during the just concluded audit

• Actively involved in the execution of Calypso Technologies audit between 2019 and 2021.

• Promoted in the EY-US to a Senior manager role in May 2020 and got progressed to the next level of SM in May 2021 (effective October 1, 2021)

• Currently leading the first time SOX implementation for Maravai LifeSciences Holdings, Inc EY, LLP Lagos, Nigeria

Assurance Manager – Leading one of the Largest Energy & Resources engagements and an International Oil Company (Royal Dutch Shell- RDS) with presence in over 42 countries of the world

• Led the review of the Joint Venture (JV) transactions between RDS and other participants in an OPL field in Nigeria which generated a Revenue of almost US$2million for the firm.

• Led the review of the Value Erosion Review (VER) model and identified an error on the model which resulted to adjustment and overhaul of the VER model

• Represented the firm and Partners at meetings with the Client’s engagement management where issues impacting the different oil fields where discussed.

• Mentored the new managers in the Nigeria office and guided them for the managerial promotion exams

• Performance on all engagements earned accolades which resulted in being nominated to represent the Nigeria office in EY, USA office on a 2-year rotation (this was extended by another year based on EY, USA’s recommendation (driven by performance US engagements)

• Based on performance in the EY, Nigeria office, earned a double promotion (agile promotion) from Assistant Manager to Manager level 2 in 2017 and was enlisted on ‘fast track’ to Partner. In addition, I also received the Regional Managing Partner (West Africa) Bonus Awards for the top 2% performers in 2017/2018

• As a member of the Learning & Development team in Nigeria, was heavily involved in training new recruits (Staff to Manager level)

May 2012 – April 2014

Audit Senior, Oil & Gas – Team Lead that led the Audit of a major National Oil/Gas Company in Nigeria, responsible for field work and coordinating team requests to the client.

• Coordinated with team members and client’s management to conduct the firm independence procedures with respect to Related Parties and other inquiries.

• As a senior, developed a mini tracker to monitor and control all requests and the client’s responses reflecting the outstanding request. This helped to foster efficiency on the engagement and client’s acknowledgement of their responsibilities.
