Hello, I go by JC. Most of my experience is within the quality department, but I’ve collaborated with other departments as well. I’m determined to learn and can be very organized. WORK EXPERIENCE
TransPak - Round Rock, TX October 2022 - Present
Quality Supervisor
Managed a team of seven qa’s to improve quality efficiency. Four on first shift & three on second shift.
Enforced the differences between qa and manufacturing responsibilities.
Got recertified to be safety captain.
Made a new qa inspection form for more detailed efficient inspection.
Implemented hold procedure to prevent discrepant product from leaving.
Submitted job problem reports when information on drawings/cut sheets are incorrect/missing.
Prepped work orders with cut sheets and drawing when time was permitted.
Updated the pass down throughout the day to keep track of orders and to ensure both shifts knew what to work on.
Helped management and customer service find missing product/paperwork.
Helped train the new current operations manager.
Covered the floor when needed.
Made attendance records for manufacturing supervisors/leads on both shifts and updated rosters regularly.
Handled shipping and receiving when no one else was available.
TransPak - Round Rock, TX August 2021 – October 2022
Quality Assurance Inspector
Inspected lumber, plywood, foam, paint and hardware and other materials required during the build/crating process.
Inspected material to build bases/panels such as foam, lumber, plywood, bags, hardware, stencils/paint, marksmanship, dimensions, etc.
Verified base/panel specifications according to drawings/cut sheets before shipping to Tech Ridge location or building for Non-Amat customers.
Retrained & worked on improving productivity with employees in all areas.
Took on multiple positions in the beginning of mt transfer such as manufacturing lead, shipping/receiving, inventory and safety champion.
Doubled check that all appropriate material/hardware for each job was the correct part number and quantity.
Helped customer service and management locate missing material/forms.
Recorded and verified product serial/lot/project numbers when crating/packaging for each customer.
Helped train new hire qa’s for first shift when requested.
Made new documents for both shifts to keep track of equipment/tools that were missing too frequently.

Lead Quality Assurance Inspector
Managed a team of twelve qa’s to improve quality efficiency. Six on first shift & six on second shift.
Inspected material to build bases/panels such as foam, lumber, plywood, bags, hardware, stencils/paint, marksmanship, dimensions, etc.
Verified base/panel specifications according to drawings/cut sheets before sending to crating/packing lines.
Recorded and verified tote/project numbers for all product during the crating/packaging process in assigned areas.
Checked that all appropriate material/hardware required for each crate was the correct part number and quantity.
Compared and verified manufacturing/production leads paperwork with mine to ensure procedures were being followed accordingly and that all information was correct.
Reinspected product before being transferred to finished goods/shipped out and communicated/turned in forms to trafficking.

Ensured qa’s followed procedures on all three shifts.
Provided continuous training, corrective/disciplinary action when necessary.
Performed orientation/training for all new hires before starting their first day.
Made adjustments for employee’s time sheets when needed and distributed overtime hours fairly on weekends/holidays.
Kept up with attendance record matrix daily along with verifying time sheets.

Verified correct raw material and components are being used at all times for all assigned machines.
Recorded lot numbers for all material in use and entered lot information in every inspection record for each part number/color on Microsoft excel throughout the shift.
Ensured machine operators are following work instruction procedures for each job board/book.
Verified internal/shipping labels are correct at all times and that all packaging is correct.
Inspected parts regularly for visual inspections such as color and common defects.
Gauged parts to confirm size, fit and function.
Ensured deviations were in place if anything was out of procedure with customer approval.
