Provided system engineering support for TPE331 turboprop engine control software updates used on the Predator B drone. These efforts included updating system requirements and bench-test software documents as well as overseeing controller bench testing ensuring system requirements were satisfied.

Results: Successfully provided updated system requirements documentation progressing the overall efforts forward. Outsource Controls Engineer – Honeywell MSE (ISC Support, Project Venus); Phoenix, Arizona Project Venus was an ISC initiative transitioning 60+ sensors from one established supplier to several new suppliers. The initiative identified the current supplier was costing Honeywell over $1.0M per month giving Project Venus high priority.

Provided supplier transition support by interfacing directly with the suppliers in reviewing product specifications, drawings, test plans and delivery schedules for electro-mechanical devices as well as coordinating with purchasing and engineering staff in resolving issues and maintain overall program schedules.

Served as the key contact for supplier-submitted documents ensuring timely progress of Honeywell dispositions while providing status to engineering and management project members. Chaired weekly status meetings with the engineering project members and the DER as a means of maintaining progress. Maintained a spreadsheet identifying status for each document (updated daily and published weekly) for management project members.
