01/1998-05/2006 I started a respiratory care LTACH-SNF program, which grew to serve 23 California Facilities. We were acquired by AHS Respiratory Services in Milwaukie WI, and continued to grow to involve 94 Respiratory Therapists, and Lab and X-Ray Services.

11/1984-11/1985 My current Hospital Corporation: Tenet, contracted with several North West Hospitals to build, and staff Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Biomedical, and Cardiopulmonary departments. I build a respiratory therapy, cardiopulmonary, and CT-Radiology component from the ground up in Madras, OR

I directed respiratory therapists, nurses, students, and supervised in radiology, respiratory care, emergency room, and our level III intensive care nursery.

I Handled all aspects of department management on a day-to-day basis. Worked in a collaborative bargaining unit environment. Managed multimillion-dollar budgets for 23 LTACH, rehab, an SNF facilities and led capital acquisition for multi-functional departments. Ensured technical resources for updates of computer-aided protocols and regulatory requirements. Conducted extensive electronic research and utilized electronic learning environments. Prepared quarterly reports for various boards within my accountability structure. I met all fiscal targets and projections on a monthly basis using zero-based budgeting techniques.

Purchased PACS system and 64 slice CT scanner for Radiology. Managed QA/QIP for my depts. And 12 Blood Gas Labs at DMC.

Developed QIP-QA_QRM-Baldrich and six-sigma programs to assess quality and compliance measures.

Taught clinical, lab and didactic courses in Biology, Respiratory Care and Psychology cumulatively for 10 years, while at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto.

Wrote several books in the subject areas in which I taught and practiced. (see Publications section).

I Developed curricula and participated in ongoing accreditation process and reviews for my colleges.

02/2008-10/2012: I worked as an intern as part of my MA/PsyD degree requirements with Watts & Associates, Fresno CA. This became a contracted position while I lived in California. I moved to Oklahoma to meet family needs in 07/2013.
