This employment was organised by University of Brighton and was setup in order for all students to gain valuable work experience and complete their qualification. Duties included: providing tourist information, kids club and also administrative duties on site. Other responsibilities held included: looking after all holiday homes and tents, dealing with problems such as damaged tents and any general complaints and enquiries.
During the last latter part of my employment at Eurocamp, I was the lead supervisor on the campsite and was in charge of leading a small team off workers on site. The supervisor role included, visiting all customers, training new staff, appraising all staff members and providing support and guidance where applicable.
I was also responsible for selling all Eurocamps Travels product and services on site. This ranged from holiday homes, tents and various other services available. I was responsible for promoting Eurocamp travel as a brand and all maximizing all sales. During my time at Eurocamp, I was responsible for demonstrating how to use various products provided by Eurocamp and was given specific sales targets to meet.
