My life's experiences have always followed relational lines, not so much pursuit but invitation, always met with a yes. It has always been first who, then what. A series of questions that all sound a lot more like "what are you hoping for?" instead of "where are we going?" Questions that move us toward entirely wide horizons, not single points of destination. A consideration of worth, not a calculation of risk, cost, or loss. I have helped design & build “spaces for people” over and over again for the past several years. Primarily my own projects (solo & shared) that were always intended for the use and enjoyment of others - their joy was my reward; Soft places to land after the hardest blows. Walls that listen intently and reflect back the truth with resounding clarity; Quiet moments when the silence says it all; Placed furniture that could be kicked back to become a dance floor for life's celebrations: Anything but ordinary rooms for everyday occasions. I have created and held space for the fullness of the human experience. Those places that become the home we never had, the forever home we'll never leave. That irrevocable condition that comes when we settle in, exhale, and accept that our belonging lies in our nonconformity; Where we open the gifts of our birthright: To know love, to be joy, to live in peace.
Spaces for people to enter fully and remain true. To get back into our own multidimensional soul-shaped bodies, even more than occupy the four walls of a room. And it has been through the creation of spaces and places that I have had the unique privilege to witness the simple power and staggeringly profound possibility of people being human with themselves and one another. People have proven to me time and time again that my high hope, faith, and belief in our shared humanity were not blind, foolish, or futile. And now, here I am, saying "yes" to the potentiality of another new relationship with the team and the hope-fueled journey that will ensue. I'm excited by the opportunity that lies before me; Eager to bring the expertise of this storied team to bear on behalf of clients, customers, and colleagues; Expectant that together, we will steward moments in people’s lives with humility, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, dignity, respect, and care - you might just call it love. It will probably come as no surprise to you by now that my experiences and philosophies around marketing well and living well don’t fit very succinctly besides bullet points and job descriptions. And to be honest I’ve never felt particularly impressive on a one page resume, but I’m quite confident, in all humility, that I’m more than capable to serve with the utmost excellence and emotional intelligence; ready to offer our clients an invitation to come share life and practice hospitality one with another within the context of our workspace and the scope of our work.
