Attend and coordinate safety and progress meetings with the national authority of tunnels (NAT).

. Ensure effectively the implementation of Safe system of work including permit to work system

. Coordinate with NAT about the measurements of lock out the current (high voltage 3rd rail) for maintenance works.

• Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers and supervisors.

• Assists management in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers. Prepares appropriate notices for management to issue for abatement of any identified hazards.

• Provide training sessions for all HSE topics when required.

• Provides promotional materials and develops and administers recognition systems to promote safe and healthful work performance.

• Assists management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.

• Supports the Safety Management Information System (SMIS) by recording all accident reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.

• Assures that claims for injuries and illnesses posted in SMIS are posted in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration log.

• Execute on site safety programs and minimize companies’ safety losses.

• Work with project team to help develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions.

• Interpret legal requirements and standards by monitoring local and international laws respective to HSE.

• Manage reports and present summaries to management with suggested solutions.

• Execute environmental management processes such as chemicals and waste management and Pollution prevention.

• Implement industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs.

• Implement safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.

• Administer the safety policies and develop uniform safety practices as per long term company safety goals.

• Offer support and advice to the workforce enabling them to carry out work safely and effectively and decreasing on site errors and accidents.

• Conduct air quality, noise, temperature, etc. testing to ensure legal/policy compliance.

• Recommend updates/participate in revising existing policies to develop new ways to manage safety.

• Recommend training requirements on legal requirements and company HSE policy.
