From May 29th, 2017 to date: Customer Service Operations Center Engineer at Vodacom Congo.

Ensure that all Data links & Vodanet monitoring tools are working properly,

Daily monitoring related to Data Top 50 Customers,

Provide a report on Data Top 50 Customers Availability on a Daily basis,

Provide a report on Data Top 50 Customers Availability Trend graph Evolution on a Daily and Weekly basis

Provide a report related to Remote Controllers, Access Point & Port 9 Usage (Utilization on each node) on a Daily and Weekly basis.

Take full responsibility for controlling the Data Top 50 customers and their full capacity allocated and used,

Provide efficient Vodanet Network Monitoring and detect all Data related faults on the network,

Support the Front Office as 1st line support for quick resolution of all Vodanet Network related faults for VIP and VGE customers.

Log through remedy all vodanet network faults with required details and information, generating a Trouble Ticket.

Escalate Vodanet network problems ensuring a Trouble Ticket is logged in remedy for follow up,

Ensure that all Trouble Tickets are closed when the incident or the problem is fixed.

Handle efficiently the Vodanet network faults as per the existing procedure.

Make sure the communication goes through existing channels to all relevant stakeholders

Escalate the Vodanet network issues as per the existing procedure, and make sure a proper follow up is done accordingly

When a Vodanet network Fault occurs, ensure existing resources are used efficiently and timely

Ensure optimal incident management,

Demonstrate strength on problems diversity and solving,

Ensure availability of different Vodanet services, as means of delivering value, as offered and expected by Vodacom Congo.

Prepare and issue incident report, making sure recurrent incidents are logged as network problem.

Interact with different supports for quick resolution.

Support the Field Engineers on ground for fixing vodanet network fault (Walkair, BSVL, CBNL and Wimax+).

Ensure Vodanet network architecture is up to date and available all the times

Hand over all Vodanet network faults (Walkair, BSVL, and Wimax+ & CBNL) to respective area/regions/division and follow up until resolution.

Monitor and react with new technology and EBU Supports, related to VIP and VGE customers.

Hand over all VIP and VGE Customers faults to respective area/regions/division and follow up until resolution.

Determine Incident prioritization by taking into account both the urgency of the Incident (how quickly the business needs a resolution) and the level of impact it is causing; an indication of impact being often (but not always) the number of users being affected.

Make sure Incident Functional escalations as well as Hierarchic escalation are done according to the existing processes and procedures.

From March 03th, 2015 to date: Transmission Engineer at Vodacom Congo.

Ensure all transmission NEs are managed from SAM, AVIAT, U2000, Netnumen and Nokia.

Configure and implement the necessary TX infrastructure and bandwidth as required by Radio at site level – Access network. (e.g. Capacity upgrades, Site grooming and 2+2 protection):

Configure and implement the required IP pipe infrastructure for RAN Network (NodeB) and Core network:

Submit, implement and monitor all job orders related to TX Network Changes.

Keep records /status of all job orders related to the TX requested by Transmission Planning, RAN, Data and Core Network changes, and fault incidents:

Ensure that applicable documentation and diagrams reflect the correct TX information;

Ensure to get weekly Backup Configuration for all NEs in the transmission Network;

Check performances on all Main links on daily basis and provide a report with the action plan to fix the relevant issues;

Follow up all transmission faults till resolution;

Perform first line support for the TX networks as required for fault investigations:

From July 10th, 2010 to February 25th, 2015: Senior Front Office Engineer and Network Controller at Vodacom, DRC. (Team Leader)

Monitor events, alarms and all activities on sites through a telemetry system.

Follow the network equipment condition at a real time, identify and detect malfunctions, make the diagnostics and recommend solutions

Implement and lead different action for the network shift and the actions for resolving incidents. (Including required actions).

Track, refer, and close the faults on site through trouble tickets.

Inform the maintenance supervisor on the faults noticed on sites.

Make sure of the good functioning of faults detection system

Make hourly, weekly, and monthly reports to the maintenance supervisor in accordance with the alarms.

Send maintenance team, control and help the actions from intervening teams and support for a qualified exploitation on the field.

Transfer to technical support teams all the cases requiring higher expertise.

Directly inform the company’s parties concerned about the corrective action made, the nature of the problem encountered, their impacts and the eventual period of restoration in the service.
