Project 1: Open Banking /Data Sharing

Open banking is also known as "open bank data." Open Banking is a banking practice that provides third-party financial service providers open access to consumer banking, transaction, and other financial data from banks and non-bank financial institutions through the use of application programming interfaces (APIs).

Responsibilities:

Come up with requirements and solutions related to migration of data from existing applications to the new platform.

Identify and define critical data elements, their meta data and map the data lineage.

Understand and Analyzed existing data models and structure of existing applications and new platforms.

Data ingestion requirements for both Batch Process and Near-Real time Kafka solution.

Translating stakeholder requirements into different tangible deliverables such as functional specifications, use cases, user stories and workflow/process diagrams.

Coordinating & sharing responsibilities with project manager for Project and Release Management (SDLC).

Engaging teams as part of SDLC process and raising the CR.

The NPP has been collaboratively developed by New Payments Platform Australia Ltd (NPPA) and 13 founding financial institutions (NPP participants), including Westpac. In addition, a large number of other financial institutions are connected to the NPP through one of these NPP participants.

Responsibilities:

Elicited functional and non-functional requirements with different teams through a series of collaborative and restricted techniques such as questionnaires, workshops and shadowing.

Configured the product with real data and managed the front end and the backend features

Worked closely with multiple clients to create specifications with the business and technical requirements and shared complete service delivery discussions including project plan
