After two weeks I was promoted to a Network Admin on camp Shelby MS where I managed a network valued over one million dollars and around 200,000 in equipment on stand by for install and replacement.
The Network was a weave spanning the entire military compound that I managed and inspected for breaks in fiber lines copper lines and any communication failures found within the network. I worked along with the Military Network team on site but managed the entire WI-FI civilian network as a separate network per Regulation. I averaged around 11,000 users on slow days ranging up to around 60,000 users during training events on base I would install new WI-FI upon request for key locations to ensure connectivity for the troops on ground during events while ensuring no dead zones were found.
Analyze network performance and identify technical solutions to improve availability, throughput, and utilization in support of operations. Manage operations and configuration of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and WAP.
Sent to and completed A+, Network+, Security + courses at Camp Robinson AR. Acted as Direct POC for Marsoc and Special Forces while on base for all and any WI-FI and commercial network need.
