I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management from the Australian Institute of Business in 2017. The program, which emphasized various aspects of management including Corporate Governance and Logistics, broadened my understanding of the complexities of business, facilities and property management, equipping me with skills necessary to drive operational efficiencies. Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited - Facilities Manager

(December 2016 –Present)

In my current role, I have overseen ~800,000 sq. ft of commercial property, including significant premises like the National Academy for the Performing Arts Campuses and several government buildings. I lead multifunctional teams, undertake facility audits, develop planned preventive maintenance schedules, and manage multi-million-dollar budgets. I am also responsible for coordinating relocation projects and I am significantly involved in the procurements of services, thus ensuring optimal service delivery from contractors.

Ministry of the Attorney General - Assistant Facilities Manager

(June 2014–November 2016)

I assisted the Facilities Manager with the orchestration and supervision of operations and maintenance works. This role required close collaboration with staff, contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of properties under the Ministry’s purview.

Delta Dynamics Limited - Facilities Maintenance Implementation Supervisor

(September 2009–August 2010)

I was involved in the implementation of various maintenance management projects, employing tools like Microsoft Projects and AutoCAD for planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities effectively.

Servus Limited - Facilities Manager

(December 2003–January 2009)

In this role, I planned, coordinated, and supervised Servus’ onsite staff and subcontractors. I managed maintenance, repair activities, and support services at client facilities by effectively overseeing outsourced suppliers and implementing safe systems of work. My responsibilities also included adhering to contracts, managing budgets, and executing annual Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules for all plant, MEP equipment, and building infrastructure.
